THIS IS HOW THEY DID IT 2000 years ago in Greece and the Roman Empire. In Public toilets, they had people carrying water in to flush, or there were fed water to a tank in the room so people could flush it themselves. Instead of toilet paper, they had a stick with cloth on it, and it was left there for everyone to use the same stick. The sticks were left in a bowl of water for people to wash it off. Some places had separation between Men and Woman's toilets - and some - not. There were rats in there and a terrible place for spreading of disease. Aren't you glad you have the "Bidette" and toilet paper ?
